Obama And The New Progressive Party
Obama actually said that he believes the same anger and disenchantment that got him elected is what got Scott Brown elected in Massachusetts. To quote well respected newsman Britt Hume..."Wow!"
To those of you who are starting to believe that the Obama administration is driving our Republic over the cliff, I offer this... There is only one perspective on Obama that makes any sense. It is what I (and many others) have been saying for a long time. Obama is a radical Marxist acolyte of Saul Alinsky and Mao Tse Tung, intent on sidestepping the Constitution...and "fundamentally transforming America". He has shown himself to be unqualified, inexperienced and incompetent when dealing with everything from foreign policy to economic policy. He has an astoundingly bad record of appointees to government positions. His "Obamacare" is just about the greatest piece of cobbled together legislative trash the country has ever faced, rife with bribes, extortion, payoffs and back room deals. He has continued to break campaign promises concerning taxes and transparency. He is instituting regulations and taxes that are job killers. He demonizes and marginalizes everyone from wealthy businessmen and bankers to those of us that own guns and drive pickup trucks. He has blasted Bush for his deficit spending at the same time that he has more than tripled the national debt. And I contend that rather than being the result of incompetence, all of this is deliberate, and is the fulfillment of over 100 years of Progressive scheming. I will stipulate that Obama is a very smart man. Smart enough to enact his radical agenda without a large segment of the population realizing what he is up to. Google "Cloward and Pivens", read Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals" and Robert Creamer's book "Stand Up Straight" to get some idea of exactly how he is trying to achieve this slight of hand. Obama's contention during the campaign that "spreading the wealth around" is a good thing is not just rhetoric. It is at the core of his Progressive ideology. Philosophically he has more in common with Marx, Stalin, Castro and even Hitler than he does with Washington, Jefferson and Madison. There is an internal battle going on now for the soul of the Democrat Party between traditional Democrats and the new Progressives who are led by Obama and his Brownshirts. Viewing Obama through the lens of the Progressive movement is the only way his policies make sense, and Americans better wake up to that fact before this "fundamental transformation" completely destroys the country. Several of the people Obama has appointed to posts in his administration are self avowed Marxists of one sort or another. That is an undeniable fact. One even went so far as to say publicly that one of the people she looks up to most is Mao Tse-tung.
Obama has repeatedly expressed that he believes in "re-distributive change" (...spreading the wealth around) and that our Constitution is "fundamentally flawed". His policies, from Cash for Clunkers to bailouts of industry and banks are all based on taking wealth from one sector of the country and giving it to another. Health Care Reform, (now euphemistically retitled "Health Insurance Reform") is not about providing health care to people, it's about the government gaining control of our lives and wealth. How can anyone not see that his goal is to transform the United States into a Marxist state, and ultimately to join other nations in forming a "one world" economy? I'll say it again, and I will keep saying it to anyone who will listen...if you support Obama, you are supporting Marxist tyranny. Maybe that doesn't bother you. Maybe Marxism is not a dirty word to you. Let's just be honest about it. Obama professes a love of freedom, a belief in our Constitution, capitalism and free markets, yet his words and actions reveal the opposite. He's Marxist to his core, and I'd have more respect for him if he would just be honest about it and quit denying it. I have an old friend who bemoans what he sees as my slide into right wing radicalism, and has warned me that I am running the risk of having my friends abandon me if I persist in voicing my opinions. He remembers me in my younger days when I was so "progressive" that I made Jesse Jackson look like Uncle Sam. He sees my conservatism as some sort of mental disorder. So be it. The sad truth is that I do have old friends that now treat me like the 300 pound gorilla in the room. They don't say anything, but I feel alienated from their affection. They don't want to debate, discuss or exchange ideas and opinions. They would rather just dismiss my thoughts as not worthy of their time. They are perfectly content to sit and exchange their "enlightened" views with each other, but they get greatly offended if anyone tries to express a different point of view. So much for their highly regarded belief in the virtue of tolerance. It only extends to those that share their values. I've been told that I am just ignorant. In reality, it was by educating myself, and taking a closer look at the prevailing "wisdom" of the 60's counter-culture that I grew up in that I began to see things in a different light. It was when I actually started reading the philosophy of those that shaped the liberal agenda, such as Saul Alinsky, that I began to see through the veil of their so called social and economic "justice". It was by reading the words of Jefferson, Franklin, Madison and Washington that I became aware of how far in the wrong direction we have strayed. My view of Obama and his radical agenda cost me an old and valued friend last night. It saddens me, but it will not silence me. There is too much at stake. I am also saddened when I see the third world America that we are sliding towards and our young people will inherit in 20 or 30 years. It's not the first time my political thoughts have got me in trouble with someone, and probably won't be the last. Despite the propaganda blitz of the past few years, the issue of "man made" Global Warming is hardly settled. While there is some hard science, there is also a lot of junk, and recent revelations show that in some cases the evidence may be manufactured, or buried when it does not support the Leftist agenda.
While it does no harm to keep an eye on such things as CO2 emissions, if you believe that we need to totally revamp the world economy, institute drastic lifestyle changes, or "Cap and Tax" businesses...you are a fool, and possibly dangerous. My Favorite Radical

Does anybody but me think that Obama's decision to finally grant Fox News an interview was planned to coincide with the release of Sarah Palin's new book, and her many appearances on TV and Radio that day? A blatant attempt to steal her thunder.
And how about Harry Reid's unveiling of the Senate Health Care plan (now re-titled "Insurance Reform") to coincide with the exact moment that Brett Baier and the Fox News Allstars were about to analyze Obama's interview? They had to preempt the program to go live and hear what Reid had to say. These events are not coincidental. They are closely following Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals" by using every trick in the book to squelch and destroy the political opposition. Their tactics go beyond "politics as usual". Once again, amid the furor over the economy, health care, and the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood, Obama's Trojan Horse Adiministration has tried to sneak another of it's Statist/Facist outrages under the radar.
This time it's a move in Congress to put all of the subway transit systems in the country under direct Federal control. You probably haven't heard about this because Obama's sycophants in the main stream media have made no mention of it. An outrage in itself. And once again, they are doing it in the name of controlling costs and making things more "green". In other words, expect more subsidies and more regulation, and less control at the local level for the "people" to make their own decisions. Aside from the practical issues (Do you really want the same people running the transit systems that have made a total mess of Amtrak?) there is the slippery slope argument that this is just the first step towards nationalizing the entire transportation industry. If we grant the government this power, what's then to stop them from applying the same logic to the airline or trucking industries? I would make the argument that with a projected deficit next year of 14 Trillion dollars, and the Dollar beginning to teeter on the brink of collapse, the last thing we need is for Obama and Congress to authorize yet another massive federal program. The truth about Obama's Statist agenda is out there. You have to look under the rocks and in the corners, but it is plain as day as soon as you begin to shine a light on it and connect the dots. The problem is that most Americans are either too apathetic or indifferent to care. Or they are too enamored by Obama's "feel good" style. And the media has stopped doing it's job as a watchdog. Many economists are predicting the collapse of the Dollar, along with runaway inflation that will have a serious and detrimental effect on our standard of living in the coming years. I won't bore you with the details. The facts are out there and they are easy enough to find if you even care enough to look. Google Cloward and Pivens for a primer on what Obama is up to. If you support Obama and his brownshirts in Congress (including most Republicans), then you have to expect to accept the blame for the coming economic disaster. It will be your fault. I for one (and a growing number of others) are patiently awaiting the 2010 elections with pink slips in hand, ready to dispose of the pinheads in Washington that are leading this country down the road to collapse. I will not peacefully stand by and watch as the Phoenix of Marxism rises from the ashes to usher in a new America. I love this country too much to allow that to happen. The article was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu and published under the title 'C'ntarea Americii, meaning 'Ode To America ') in the Romanian newspaper Evenimentulzilei 'The Daily Event' or 'News of the Day'. ~An Ode to America ~ Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs. On 9/ll, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on the heart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the Army, or the Secret Service that they are only a bunch of losers. Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about. Instead the Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand. After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the national flag. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin Thousands of parents, teachers and even some school districts around the country have decided to opt out of Obama's broadcast to school children. There will be the usual smear campaign against these people from the Obama propaganda machine. They will be accused of being ignorant, reactionary, racist, fear-mongering right wing radicals. "Those people..." as one New York congresswoman put it. What those on the left either fail to understand, or don't want to address is that many Americans have become increasingly aware of the insidious nature of Obama's promotion of his own ideological agenda. Everything he does, from using the Internet and Twitter to his call to arms to the artistic community and the media is designed to promote his not so hidden radical agenda. He has used his community organizing skills very effectively to try and indoctrinate people with his own philosophical point of view through groups like Apollo and Acorn. The bottom line is that many Americans have become very suspicious of his means and his motives. They don't trust the man. They are becoming increasingly aware of his radical nature. They are starting to make the connection between Obama and people like Alinsky, Ayers, Wright and Van Jones. They are increasingly fearful and suspicious of his promise to "fundamentally change the United States...". They fear he will use this as an opportunity to subvert the conservative values that they have tried to instill in their children. The real problem may not be in Obama's speach. But the opportunity for the ultra-left members of the NEA and the AFTA to use it as a teaching tool in the days following his address. And I think this is part of what Obama is counting on. He then has plausible deniability as teachers do the actual dirty work of promoting his agenda. Viewed in context of all Obama's ideological work, this is no small thing. Parents would be wise to take a close look at the message he delivers, and how it fits in to the curriculum of their children's teachers. Ask a lot of questions. What has become of freedom loving, self reliant Americans?
I am very disheartened by the fact that so many don't seem to care about the creeping socialism that the Obama administration is imposing on us. They are not even trying to hide it anymore. It's right out in the open for all to see. His policies, from the bailouts and take over of GM to Cap and Trade and Health Care reform are nothing more than the vast redistribution of wealth that he mentioned during the campaign. He has staffed the White House with unelected, unaccountable "Czars". Some of whom are self proclaimed communists and socialists. They are building a framework inside the government based on the community organizing principles of Saul Alinsky that will eventually determine the course of the country. Have you wondered at all how Congress came up with 1500 pages of Health Care legislation in such a short amount of time? Legislation so complicated that even members of Congress have admitted that they haven't read it or completely understand it. It's because they did not write it. It was crafted well ahead of time by groups outside of government such as the Apollo Project, ACORN, and the Movement for a Democratic Society. (the old Students for a Democratic Society, SDS) These are all "Progressive" groups organized around Marxist principles and founded by radical leftists who are anti-capitalist, and anti-American. Congress actually had very little to do with it. Don't you wonder at all why they seem to be in such a hurry to push through something that will have such profound impact on our economy and way of life? It's a Trojan Horse, and they don't want to give the American people time to peek inside of it. I say it again...Obama is a Marxist and his policies are un-American, un-Constitutional, and border on the seditious. He has surrounded the White House with radicals who have his ear on a daily basis and are dedicated to a complete overthrow and revision of the American system. Real Americans need to stand up and stop this man from doing any further destruction to our system. Health Care is a Right??
The prevailing wisdom among Progressives these days is that health care is a "right", and somehow should be provided by the Federal Government. This is simply wrong.
Anything given to you by the government can also be taken away. Therefor it can't possibly be a "right". Your "rights" as understood by the Founding Fathers and expressed in the Constitution are inalienable and intrinsic. They come from God, not from the government. The only legitimate function of government regarding your "rights" is the duty to protect and preserve them. Not provide them. By the logic of the Progressives, anything could be considered a "right". Housing, food, transportation, jobs and maybe even internet access could all be considered "rights" and could be provided by the government. Those who believe this show an astounding lack of understanding and respect for our Constitution and the principles that this country was founded on. This is Marxism and it's un-American. And it's inexcusable in our elected representatives who are sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution. Any discussion of health care reform should at it's inception be mindful of limits imposed on Government by the Constitution. The vast redistribution of wealth being proposed by the current Administration in the name of the public welfare is tyrannical.
